I have no idea why this exists, but it made me choke on my cantaloupe.

Congrats to Dale Earnhardt jr jr on being the 11th best new band of 2010 according to Stereogum. The band is currently on tour, but will be back in Detroit soon for dates, so know one here will probably realize they were gone.
Tame Impala is 32 on the list… but that might just be the publishing execs trying to gain a little cred by not placing a band people have heard of too high on the list… that record is more than 32 awesome though imho.

This reminds me, Peabs and I have not had a taco eating contest in quite some time. In spite of the fact that he never eats, or perhaps because he never eats, Peabs always wins. His strategy to build an early 1 taco lead and then just keep pace is really difficult to beat.
Also, when you show up at T-Bell and order about 40 tacos… don’t expect that many free smiles.

Bump is calling it a career.
The first show in the farewell tour (which is an actual tour, not just two local dates a month apart) is this Friday and the last is October 2 at the Magic Stick.
Also, just a hint to the mint, if you need really talented musicians with oodles of touring experience for your project… I’d start calling some of these guys before they get too busy. Face melters.
