It's coming
Actually, that’s not a picture of Muammar Gaddafi.
That’s a picture of me taken on the Sunday after last year’s Blowout looking super puffy and hung over after somehow waking up in the burnt out La Shish on Gratiot.
And, yes I always wear stereo lapel mics… makes notes to self much easier.
For example that morning, my note was, “In the future, try not to get...
“Durst is the worst”
Duhvs… been helping lead that bandwagon since way before Chocolate Starfish (that means butthole y’all).
This movie, howevs is not durst, despite the presence, participation and fake mustache of Durst.

I’ve run pitchfork.tumblr.com for almost a year now. I had several posts up and I followed 28 people with the account. All my posts are now gone and my address has been changed to pitchfork1.tumblr.com. Where my blog once stood now stands the official Tumblr for Pitchfork Media Inc. Watch out, Soup, I hear Campbell’s is gunning for you next.

Warner To Quit Free Music Streaming →
tomewing:
What’s interesting here is that Warner are specifically saying the freemium (most don’t pay, some do) model isn’t working out for them - which every article I’ve seen looking at the ‘economics’ of a Spotify, say, predicted. Not exactly new news. When Julian was promoting his new album, he said they got together last summer to try to start new work.
Still, very good news.

What?
This sounds like such a great idea, but can only end in disapointment and regret.
Guitar Center is giving you the chance to write, record and perform with Slash. One artist will record a 3-song E.P. with Slash - and get other prizes. Check out Guitar Center - Your Next Record With Slash.
2002 LOLZ!
2002 was a very good year for music… at least that’s how I remember it.
But thank to Jools Holland and OnDemand, I have to question my own memory.
The particular episode I watched yesterday had Wilco, Damon Albarn, Norah Jones and some band that had Marcie from Silverghost in it.
As you can see from this video, while ‘War on War’ is a great tune, this is not the best...
