What is the oldest, most ridiculous firearm Jack White could think of Alex?

Sure you could hunt deer with a rifle if you buy into the bullshit that is the helical groove, but you’d be denying yourself the warmth and humanity of killing an animal like a 17th century Portuguese Marine as God intended.
