He was born Gary Winchester but known to the world as the Sultan of Turkey.  Winchester claimed to have not realized Turkey was even a place when he invented his signature character always saying, “I just thought the breasts were delicious,” with a wink. Predating Sacha Baron Cohen by nearly 80 years, he’s also credited with the first use of “Wha wha wee wha,” and increasing the popularity of “china-man” jokes.
