» The Metro Von Bondie's Gonna Be Pissed?
Very entertaining read in today’s metrotimes. I think it has the intended effect of making one want to go out and see the Hounds Below, or maybe even the Von Bondies again.
You should read the whole thing, so I’ll just hit a few high, hard ones that I learned in this interview.

Too many interviews, hint of misrepresentation — one more will clarify everything.
Has mother. Loves mother.
I didn’t say that, I said THIS!
Supergroup. Dream lineup = band of more youthful people who are generally well liked by their peers… which interestingly could also be said about nearly every “other” Von Bondie over the years.
Generosity. I has it.
The good old days when the singers were men and the men were cool.
“My Car is the World” — presumably the name of his next side project, because it’s the only explanation for that phrase.
Martyrdom is a difficult cross to bare. You might say it’s a bear of a cross to bare.
I want to be invisible, also come see my band and check out my beer endorsement in a new celebrity filled commercial.
Don’t judge me.
Like I said, it’s a very entertaining read about a guy I hope embraces his potential to truly blossom from a somewhat successful narcissist to a beloved, local musical eccentric.
“The Von Bondies play the fourth annual “New Year’s Eve Rock ‘n’ Roll Ball” at the Dearborn Hyatt Regency, 600 Town Center Drive, Dearborn; 313-593-1234. With the Hard Lessons, the Underdog and DJ Gabe Real.”
